Prohibitions
Inside the Museum it’s forbidden to:
-

make use of mobile phones

- take pictures with or without flash
- smoke
- eat or drink
- take dogs inside, with the exception of dogs of blind men
   

 
 

The entrance is free for UE members under 18, or over 65 and for schools with reservation; for University students of Art History, Architecture, Art Academy (with University card); art and architecture teachers (with document); tourist guides; ICOM members.

Only 1500 persons are daily allowed to visit the Camera Picta (Camera degli Sposi by Andrea Mantegna).

 

Schools and groups visiting the palace between 15th March and 31st October have to book in advance and groups may sum up to a maximum of 30-32 persons.

In order to visit the Camera degli Sposi between 15th March and 15th June, and between 1st September and 15th October, also single visitors have to book in advance.

The cost of the reservation is 10,50€ for groups; 5,25€ for schools and 1€ for each single visitor.

 

The ticket office and the ticket booking service are under the responsability of the society Verona 83.

VISITING THE PALACE
 

2nd November – 30th March
1) Only accompanied visit
Keepers will guide you through the palace; the service is free of charge and the keeper may also give information and explanations about the palace. The route is the largest one (green and red tours) and art-historical informative panels are spread all over the museum. The visit begins from the entrance hall; groups depart every 15 minutes ca. or when 20 persons gather.

The visit will take some 90 minutes, and last departure will be at 6.30 pm.

 
     
 

2) Visit with audio guide

The visit is anyway bound to groups led by keepers.

The price of the audio guide is € 4 (single), € 5,50 (double) and is available in four languages (English, French, German and Italian).

 
     
  3) Particular itineraries
This free service is available on Saturday and Sunday, and these itineraries can be done, before, after or in spite of the normal visit. The "Assistenti Tecnici Museali" (ATM) will guide you in these itineraries, usually closed to the public, giving art historical explanations.
 
     
 

31st March – 1st November
1) Free visit

Visitors can visit the palace with no time limitation and following one of the two itineraries (the green and the red).

 
     
 

2) Accompanied visit

Keepers may be available for free guided visits inside the museum. Starting point from the Sala delle Cariatidi (the first large hall at the noble floor): departures about every 30 minutes when possible.

 
     
 

3) Visit with audio guide

The visit in this period is not bound to any group; prices the same as above.

 
     
 

4) Particular itineraries
